Marcus Chambers is currently on the path to his third attempt at realizing a lifelong dream—competing in the 400m and 4x400m relay events at the 2024 Paris Olympics. With years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifices, Marcus aspires to set an example for others, inspiring them to believe in and achieve their personal goals.
Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, Marcus cultivated a passion for sports early on, strategically utilizing his speed in basketball, football, soccer, and baseball. However, it was during his freshman year of high school, at his grandmother's encouragement, that he explored Track & Field, etching his name into Washington State history as a 4x State Champion, 2x Junior Olympic Champion, and Junior World Champion.
Securing a full Track & Field scholarship, Marcus joined the University of Oregon, excelling both academically at the Lundquist College of Business and athletically. He became a 4x Pac-12 Champion, 4x NCAA Team Champion, and a 7x NCAA All American, culminating in a noteworthy appearance at the 2016 Olympic Trials.
Post-college, Marcus embraced the professional arena, securing a Nike sponsorship with Team USA. Despite facing a challenging right knee and left Achilles injury while positioning himself for the 2021 Olympics, Marcus remains resolute in his determination to push forward and persevere.
This season, Marcus steps onto the competition track proudly donning his personal brand, "Triple G Speed," symbolizing Grit, Gratitude, and Giving.
Looking ahead, Marcus envisions a future centered around Triple G Speed, offering explosive speed coaching and motivational speaking. As an explosive foot speed coach, he actively shares his expertise, inviting you to reach out for more information.
